According to ISCC, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a great impact on the entire social life, production and business of Vietnam and countries around the world, leading to a surge in demand for anti-disease equipment group, especially the group of products of personal protective medical supplies such as masks, gloves and protective clothing etc. According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), by the end of 2020, the world needs 2.2 billion surgical masks, 1.1 billion medical gloves, 13 million goggles and 8.8 million face shields for Covid-19 infection prevention. Vietnam currently has about 200 enterprises producing products for prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic such as masks, medical gloves, medical goggles, and prevention clothes. However, when exporting anti-disease protective equipment, domestic enterprises are facing difficulties due to domestic and foreign countries' import standards (USA, Europe etc.). Very few domestic enterprises meet standards of importing countries.
The conference aims to help businesses understand the regulations to make products reach technical standards and meet requirements of domestic and foreign markets, contributing to the socio-economic development stability during the Covid-19 pandemic and towards sustainable development.
