At the conference, delegates heard Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor deploying new points of the amended and supplemented Labor Code in 2019 such as the subjects of application, labor contract regulations, wages, working time, rest time and overtime, workers' organizations at the enterprise, and labor dispute resolution etc.

​Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized, the revised Labor Code 2019 takes effect from January 1, 2021 with many new points that will greatly affect employees. Therefore, it is required that Trade Union officials should be familiar with the important, basic and relevant provisions of the Labor Code 2019 to propagate, advocate and best protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, especially in the coming context, there will be more representative organizations for employees at the enterprise.
