Participants were leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority, Board of Viet Nam – Singapore Industrial Park, Becamex IDC. and BIWASE.
At the event, Vice Chairman Dang Minh Hung briefed the social economic development as well as FDI attraction of Binh Duong province. He highlighted that Binh Duong ranked the 3rd among 63 provinces and cities in term of attracting FDI with nearly 3,600 FDI projects with total capital of US$33.2 billion from 64 countries and territories. In 2018, Binh Duong province ranked the 6th in term of PCI (Provincial Competitiveness Index) and the 39th in term of PAPI (Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index).
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Gilles Mahieu, Governor of Brabant Wallon province expressed his sincere thanks to Binh Duong leaders for their warm hospitality. He impressed with Binh Duong socio-economic achievement as well as Binh Duong Smart City Project.

He hoped that Brabant Wallon wished the cooperation opportunities between the two provinces in smart city and environment issues which are the challenges for both Binh Duong and Brabant Wallon provinces in the current context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
In the same afternoon, the Brabant Wallon delegation visited Anheuser-Bush Inbev Viet Nam, one of the biggest Belgian companies in Binh Duong province.
