At the reception, Kelvin Teo thanked provincial leaders for accompanying the development of VSIPs. He added that VSIP 3 is being formed up at the local development requirements and investment attraction orientations. This will be a smart IP with hi-tech appliances in production. Becamex IDC and SembCorp Group will research the use of recycled and clean energy for VSIP and other works.
Secretary of provincial Party Committee Tran Van Nam said that FDI enterprises, including ones at VSIP, significantly contributed to the local economic growth. He also spoke highly of the effective business of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) over the past time. The province will continue building a synchronous infrastructure system and take solutions, facilitating enterprises' production-business activities as well as enlarging VSIP III industrial park of SembCorp Group.

On the same day, Kelvin Teo was also received by Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.
Kelvin Teo delightedly informed Liem of the good achievements in trading and production of VSIP in 2017, especially the remarkable operation of VSIPs in Binh Duong while hoping that local authorities will have more concerns on smart VSIP III so that it operates successfully, contributing to the local sustainable socio-economic development.
