According to the report, since the Urban Planning Law 2009 and the Construction Law 2014 took effect, the state management on planning in the province of Binh Duong increasingly favorable. The proportion of general planning and zoning planning is 100%. The synchronous implementation of general planning, zoning planning and detailed planning helps the work of investment, management planning and construction licensing in the province quick and transparent.
The development and upgrading of urban areas must ensure the proposed route. Including the investment in building new urban areas in association with upgrading and refurbishing of Thu Dau Mot city and Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen urban areas towards civilization, clean and improve people's quality of life.
Working session's overview
In appraisal and approval of urban master plans, the province always focuses on ensuring the synchronous connection of technical infrastructure, especially, connecting the Southern Key Economic Zone, Ho Chi Minh Ring Roads (Ring Road 3, 4), connecting Dong Nai province via My Phuoc - Tan Van, Thu Bien bridge, Bach Dang 2, Thoi An. At the same time, attention should be paid to ensuring the connection of regional and inter-regional technical frameworks, especially the traffic and drainage system in the planning of residential areas in districts, towns and cities.
In the coming time, Binh Duong will continue reviewing and adjusting provincial planning in line with the orientation of urban and rural development in Ho Chi Minh City; urging localities to invest in construction and formulate an urban upgrading plan on a timely basis set out; investing in the development of synchronous technical infrastructure system.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Construction Phan Thi My Linh highly appreciated the urban planning and development of Binh Duong province, especially the smart city planning. The Deputy Minister asked the province to review and complete the provincial planning and general urban planning in accordance with the Law on Urban Planning; continue to promote the effectiveness of urban land planning; adjust the orientation of the focus areas in the planning according to the actual development of the province.
