Over the past time, the provincial Party committees in Binh Duong have paid attention to leadership and direction of the administration, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to strengthen care and assistance for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims. According to statistics, Binh Duong currently has 5.250 victims exposed to toxic chemicals. Currently, the province is managing and paying monthly allowance for 1.113 chemical resistance activists and offspring of resistance activists infected with toxic chemicals, at the same time grant health insurance cards to those people. Besides, the social protection centers in the province are caring for more than 20 victims affected by toxic chemicals. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Martyrs Day of Martyrs Day (27 July), Day of Agent Orange Victims Day (10/8) annually, the province has visited, donated gifts to Agent Orange victims and victims' families, totaling over 4,5 billion Vn dong; mobilize benefactors, businesses help with the total amount of nearly 2,5 billion Vn dong.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung highly appreciated Binh Duong province in implementing Directive 43. He suggested that, the provincial Party Committee give general guidance so that branches and levels pay more attention to victims of chemical toxins, in which the Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims in the province need to work closely with branches to carry out the task. In addition, it is necessary to review the Agent Orange victims who have not been entitled to the regime for timely supplementation.
Mr. Pham Van Canh received comments from the survey Delegation, at the same time, required departments, agencies and branches to conduct extensive propaganda so that people understand and comply with Directive 43.
