​Attending the conference, there were members of the Executive Board of Smart City and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, unions, enterprises.

At the discussion, representative of Smart City Office introduced the overview of Binh Duong's Smart City Scheme; Intelligent Community Forum (ICF). The Scheme had 4 Chapters based on Triple Helix and breakthrough programmes of Binh Duong. Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) had 160 Smart Cities. Binh Duong has planned to be become a member of ICF before 2021. Binh Duong has complied its standards in order to contributing the Binh Duong's Smart City, and then scale out this model across the province. Binh Duong New City will be a center of Smart Zone.

Delegates also discussed the timing, contents of the 2nd  Binh Duong's Smart City Conference. Accordingly, the conference will be held from 25^th to 27^th November 2017 at the Binh Duong Conference and Exhibition Center, including the main activities: Hackathon Contest will take place from 25^th to 26^th November; Product exhibition of some Smart Cities in the world and the conference will take place on 27^th November.

Conclusion at the discussion, Mr. Mai Hung Dung basically agreed on the timing and content of the 2nd Binh Duong's Smart City Conference. To prepare for the summit, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee suggested that Binh Duong's Smart City Office in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee soon set up the Executive Board, assigning specific tasks to each member; Complete forms to join the ICF. Departments and Agencies follow the provincial Party Committee's breakthrough programmes to develop a plan for the operation development of Binh Duong's Smart City Scheme.​
