Colonel 1st Class Dau Hien Luong - Deputy Director of the Department of Immigration (Ministry of Public Security), Mr. Dang Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the PPC, cadres and civil servants of provincial departments, agencies, People's Committees, Public Sercurity of districts, towns, cities, owners of resident establishments, businesses and individuals in the province were attended.
At the meeting, Colonel 1st Class Dau Hien Luong presented contents of Circular No. 53/2016/TT-BCA dated December 28th 2016 of the Minister of Public Security promulgating regulations on how to declare, to receive information on foreigners staying in Vietnam and Circular No. 29/2016/TT-BCA dated July June 2016 issued by the Minister of Public Security promulgating guidance on issuance, modification and supplementation of ordinary passports for Vietnamese citizens. The participants attending the conference were also guided technical features, how to make a temporary residence declaration for foreigners via the Internet and the process of receiving electronic declarations of passport application for Vietnamese citizens.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Minh Hung emphasized, the implementation of the program on declaration and management of temporary residence information of foreigners on the Internet and electronic declaration is a breakthrough in the application of information technology to the administrative reform. Thereby, contributing to improve state management efficiency, saving time and costs for business staying in the province. He asked provincial Public Security continue monitoring and instructing organizations and individuals to understand regulations and equip necessary conditions for organizations, individuals, foreign businesses and accommodation establishments in the province to well implement the content.
Currently, Binh Duong province has deployed
a system of temporary residence registration for foreigners on the Internet to
communes, wards and towns. To make a temporary residence declaration for
foreigners, accommodation establishments have to access to website https://binhduong.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn,
enter foreigners' information in available tabs, download attached files, check
and save temporary residence information in the system.
Vietnamese citizens permanently or
temporarily residing in Binh Duong province, who wish to issue, amend or
supplement ordinary passports can access to website https://hochieu.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn,
select proposal content, enter declaration information and make an appointment
to submit documents.
