Di An Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Project has a total investment of 115 million US dollars, equivalent to 2.5 trillion Dong, it is funded by the World Bank of 92 million US dollars, equivalent to 1,500 billion Dong. People's Committee of Binh Duong province ensures the counterpart fund is about 23 million US dollars. Through international bidding, Contruction Investment Join Stock Company N05 (Cic.5 Jsc) has won contract to build a 6.8ha factory with the collection system. Capacity of phase I is 20,000 m3 /day and night, deployed in 5 wards of Di An town. When completed, the plant will collect rain water for Binh An ward and collect domestic effluent for 4 wards of Di An, Tan Dong Hiep, Dong Hoa and An Binh with about 40,000 beneficiaries from this project and ensure synchronization across drainage basin.

Leaders of province and Di An town and representatives of World Bank at the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Plant

At the groundbreaking ceremony, leaders of Di An Town People's Committee pledged to create all conditions for Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment Joint Stock Company to carry out the project in accordance with the plan. The representative of investor also pledged to supervise and hurry the contractor and related units to ensure safety, design, quality and schedule to put the project into operation at the end of 2018.
