agencies, Ho Chi Minh City and more than 1.000 students and youth union members
in local area attended.
World Environment Day 2017 is titled
"Living in harmony with nature", calling for and encouraging the
community to be organic with nature, thus feeling the beauty and importance of
nature with life; At the same time, sharing and calling for protection of the earth,
protecting the harmony between human and nature.

students and youth union members participated in the Third Environment Day
The
Third Environment Day of Binh Duong took
place with exciting activities such as launching the environmental protection
movement; Organizing exhibitions, displaying the painting "I paint the
green planet"; Organizing advocacy games, learning about natural resources
and environment; Change gift waste; Dancing, planting trees in Chanh Nghia ward
... The Day aimed to create a useful playground for students and youth union
members, raising awareness of people and enterprises about environmental
protection, turn into action.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Tran Thanh
Liem asked agencies, departments and localities to continue speeding up the
implementation of the projects, schemes, tasks and solutions assigned in the
Binh Duong Environmental Protection Plan in the period of 2016-2020. The
Department of Education and Training attaches great importance to the
integration of environmental protection activities into teaching contents. The
Department of Natural Resources and Environment enhances the bar, examines and
resolves complaints and denunciations about environment, and strictly handles
violations. He wanted people to change consumption habits, limit the impact on
environment; Enterprises always accompany the province in environmental
protection. This will contribute to building Binh Duong into a modern- green-
clean - beautiful urban.
At the festival, the Provincial People's
Committee awarded Binh Duong Environment Award in 2017 to 6 individuals, 7
organizations and 2 communities with outstanding achievements in environmental
protection. The Organizing Committee also reviewed and rewarded 10 groups of
authors winning "Talk to the Environment" contest.
On this occasion, the Provincial
Environmental Protection Fund awarded trash bins to Vietnam Fatherland Front
Committee of Binh Duong province and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh
Duong Province.
