At the seminar, economic
experts of the United Nations Conference on trade and development (UNCTAD)
Joerg Mayer outlined industrial 4.0 and the 4th Industrial Revolution that
happening worldwide. At the same time, emphasized differences and impact of
this revolution on socio-economic aspects to the world in general and Vietnam
in particular. From there, opened proposals and reference solutions for
situation of Vietnam in context of the world is promoting the 4th Industrial
Revolution. Especially, one of goals of this revolution is to implement a
manufacturing process with a combination of humans and robots. Experts said
that, the onset of the 4th Industrial Revolution is a precious opportunity for
Vietnam to catch up, accelerate the process of industrialization and
modernization, and narrow development gap compared to other countries in the
world.
