In the last term, despite
many difficulties in many aspects, not much experience in organizing friendship
activities, however with the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, the
Provincial People's Committee, the guidance and support of Union of Provincial
Friendship Organizations with efforts of the Executive Committee and the enthusiasm
of members, the Association has made certain contributions to tighten,
strengthen and enhance friendly cooperation relations Between Binh Duong people
and the people of Russia. In addition to promoting friendly activities, the
Association is also interested in the development of members, up to now,
membership of the Association is 120 people. In the period 2011-2016, the
Association has organized a number of outstanding activities such as: meeting
on occasion of the Russian October Revolution, "Russian cultural days in
Vietnam" in Binh Duong Province, reunions, visit members, actively respond
and participate in seminars, conferences and external activities of the
People's...
Congress has set out
orientations and tasks for the next term is to continue to consolidate the
Executive Committee in the direction of increasing number of members; continue
to grow members; establish of chapters; renew content and mode of operation;
advise and coordinate activities of friendship, solidarity and cooperation;
propagate and educate traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian
Federation.

Congress has consulted
election for the Executive Committee period 2017-2022 including 13 comrades;
the Inspection Committee consists of 3 comrades. Mr. Tran Van Thay - Chairman
of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance continue to be trusted to hold the
position of President of Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Binh Duong
period 2017-2022.

Speaking at congress, on
behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Dang Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the PPC
acknowledged and praised results achieved in the last term of the
Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in Binh Duong province. Promoting the
achievements, The Vice-Chairman suggested that, during 2017-2022 period, the
Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Binh Duong province would continue to
promote activities to further strengthen solidarity friendship between Vietnam
and the Russian Federation in general and between Binh Duong province with
localities of the Russian Federation in particular.
