Industry changes the appearance of Binh Duong

Many senior leaders of the Party, State and leaders of many countries in the world, when visiting Binh Duong, they always raise a question, Binh Duong, why such rapid change? The answer is the "hit" from industry. In the period 1996-1997, Binh Duong was just beginning  with 2 Industrial Park - Song Than, Vietnam - Singapore, up to now, Binh Duong has 28 industrial parks and 10 industrial clusters with a total area of more than 11,000 hectares, distributed evenly throughout the province. The establishment of industrial parks and clusters has helped province's socio-economic development to develop rapidly, especially in industrial production sector, push Binh Duong became one of provinces with high industrial development rates in comparison with whole country. Industrial production value in 2016 is estimated at 250.287 billion dong, 60 times higher than that in 1997. On average in the period 1997-2016, the value of industrial production increased by 24.4% / year.

Industrial development also promotes trade – service at Binh Duong over time. If in 1997, total revenue of retail sales of goods and services reached 13.771 billion dong, then in 2010 reached 45.503 billion dong, in 2016 reached 143.318 billion dong. Average period 1997-2016 increased by 20% / year. Province has boldly called for investment projects serve commercial - service activity spacious and modern. Many commercial centers and supermarkets are being built and put into operation such as Aeon Mall, Lotte Mart, Becamex Trade Center, Big C, Coop Mart, Metro... Commercial infrastructure system has been gradually modernized contributed to improving quality of business forms, shopping, entertainment...

By the end of first quarter of 2017, the province had attracted 26.592 domestic business registration with total capital of more than 198.206 billion dong, 2.890 foreign investment projects with a total investment capital of 27,1 billion US dollars  and nearly 100,000 employees have demonstrated the dynamic development of Binh Duong from industry.

Binh Duong has made efforts to build roads linking industrial areas, cargo port clusters, urban areas and residential areas inside and outside the province serving positively for the needs of transportation, tourism and livelihoods. Many main roads such as Highway 13, DT745, DT743, National Highway 1K, My Phuoc - Tan Van Road ... invested by province has created a complete transport systems as a bright spot in national transport infrastructure, favorable to trade goods, travel for people and investors near and far. If in the past, Thuan An, Thu Dau Mot, Ben Cat, Dau Tieng were famous for the glorious victories of a prosperous Thuan An Hoa War zone, a majestic Iron Triangle, an echoing War zone D, a tenacious Vinh Loi Warriors, these areas have now changed their appearance like a miracle. Great works have sprung up, attracting thousands of laborers all over Binh Duong to do business, living long life. These large projects have sprouted up, attracting thousands of workers across country to come to Binh Duong to work and live permanently.

Life of prosperity and happiness

Many times we revisited Iron Triangle Tunnels - South West Tunnel of Ben Cat Town, where two wars have happened during this period, people here fought heroically, now have comprehensive changed, people's lives more prosperous and happy. The new roads linking communes, wards with Ben Cat town, Dau Tieng district and Thu Dau Mot city clearly demonstrate the prosperity on land, where exist a hail of bombs, bullets in the old time. People in communes of An Dien, An Tay, Phu An ... are excited, prepared for 30^th April holiday. One of the prides of people in South West Tunnel is the process of development investment; province has invested in synchronous and modern infrastructure, roads linking with Rach Bap Industrial Park, Viet Huong 2, My Phuoc 1, 2, 3.

Must say, Binh Duong knows how to manipulate power of whole political system to develop socio-economic, defense-security efficiency, comprehensive with consistent policies, especially social care programs, meritorious family, social security policies, especially co-inclusion of old war zones to educate young generations to understand and promote spirit of their father. From that consistent policy, former war zones such as War zone D, Vinh Loi War zone, Thuan An Hoa War zone... have changed day by day. Thuan An Hoa War zone now has an appearance of strong development, factories and plants connected to crowded urban areas. Looking at the wide streets, industrial parks, new residential areas and busy streets of Thuan An town today, few people can imagine this land where bombs were plowed during war years.

Unity, solidarity and heartily

In order to obtain comprehensive development from economy, culture, society to many other fields, Binh Duong provincial leaders through different generations know to manipulate clement weather, geography, humanity, know how to mobilize strength of united people, united heart. The lesson is to apply full strength of whole political system and people's consensus, was successfully applied by Binh Duong in the process of socio-economic development towards increasingly sustainable. The achievements of Binh Duong due to Binh Duong Party always attach the importance to building the Party; building party is identified as a key task, and socio-economic development is a central task. The Party has been steadfast against all challenges, dynamic and creative in leadership and direction bringing renovation of the province forward. The bigger lesson is that Binh Duong's leaders have good planning management, building an effective management regulation, confidently investing in key projects of province in terms of transport and urban areas associated with the regional planning.

In early 2017, attended the 20th Anniversary of development of Binh Duong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised and promoted heroic revolutionary tradition during resistance wars for independence, national liberation, unification of the country, inheriting significant achievements of Song Be province in the early renovation period, Party, government, military, Binh Duong People constantly strive to create a breakthrough in construction and development. With dynamism and creativity, determination of whole political system, business community, Binh Duong has changed every day, creating a great achievement in socio-economic development, becoming a developed province with high industrialization and urbanization rate in the Southern Key Economic Zone.

Party, government, people in Binh Duong always promote spirit of solidarity, dynamic, focus on exploitation advantages, potential in terms of geographic location, land resources, human factor... to bring a poor province with outdated infrastructure, low starting point in the level of economic development to become a leading locality for industrial development, trade-service in Southern Key Economic Zone and whole country.
