Vina Kraft Paper Co., Ltd is
the largest packaging manufacturer in Vietnam, a joint venture between Siam
Kraft Industry Co., Ltd (a subsidiary of SCG Group in Thailand) and Rengo
Company in Japan. The company's factory is built on an area of 38 hectares;
total investment of both periods is 330 million US dollars.

In order to maximize operational
efficiency, company has expanded its production base to meet modern technology
standards, producing medium-sized paper with a total capacity of up to 500,000
tons per year. Second production plant is invested production line with
features such as low-volume design can be more value-driven by ability to
produce lightweight paper with less fiber material, while still maintaining
quality and durability of product; raw material with dilution allows for
formation of fine layers of paper and fibers by aligning the yarn to obtain a
smooth surface and desired strength.

Speaking at ceremony, Mr. Tran
Thanh Liem, Chairman of PPC, stressed that the inauguration of second factory, once
again proved cohesion and determination of long-term investment in Binh Duong
of company. Provincial leaders highly appreciated and respected company's
expansion project. Chairman believes, with the potential and experience has
been confirmed, the company will operate effectively, successfully and become
"bridge" to introduce to other partners, investors, especially Thailand
and Japanese businesses come to Binh Duong for investment, production and
business development.
