The PPC chairs the implementation
of Scheme, the direction of the Scheme Steering Committee in cooperation with
VNPT Group in building a model of information technology and communication
technology framework; directs agencies, units, localities and assign the
Executive Board Scheme to coordinate in deploying and creating favorable
conditions for VNPT to perform the signed contents in the best way.

Chairman of PPC Tran Thanh Liem affirmed that, the contents of agreement today
matching perspective with viewpoints, objectives, orientation of the
"Smart City Project - Binh Duong"; bring fundamental advantages for
the province in implementing Decision No. 3206/QD-UBND dated November 21st
2016 on approving the " Smart City Project – Binh Duong"; at the same
time, establish the foundation and legal basis for VNPT Group in co-operation
with Steering Committee, Executive Board of Smart City Scheme to build
architecture platform and information technology - communication infrastructure
with service, synchronous information network infrastructure, interconnected,
multi-way service for the process of shaping and building smart cities; at the
same time ensure all solutions in information technology serving smart cities
of domestic and foreign organizations and individuals can easily participate in
exploiting and operating on the basis of telecommunications infrastructure and
information technology.

Duong has also signed with Thu Dau Mot University on training and supplying
human resources; researching and applying information technology telecommunications and communications for socio-economic
development of Binh Duong province in general and in building smart cities in
particular; the first step is to concretize the cooperative of triple helix model:
Government - Business - University, Institute; gradually bring the contents of
"Smart City Project - Binh Duong" into realities of life.
