Mr.
Tran Thanh Liem - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee and leaders of
some provincial departments also attended.
At
the meeting, Mr. Tseng Yu Hsien said, Polytex Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd.
under Far Eastern Group (Taiwan). The company is constructing a polyester fiber
factory with a total area of 99 hectares; total investment capital of first
phase is $274 US million in Bau Bang Industrial Zone. Expected in May 2017, the
factory will operate the first production line. The Far Eastern Group has also
registered and received phase 2 investment certificate by PPC for capital increase
of $485.6 million US dollars. After completing the necessary procedures, the
project will implement phase 2 factory constructions and put into operation in
late 2018. Mr. Tseng Yu Hsien thanked the provincial leaders and functional
departments for creating favorable conditions for project implementation and
early operational. Along with the construction of factory, the company will build
dormitories for workers to ensure best living conditions and accommodation for
workers.

with Board of Directors of Polytex Far Eastern Vietnam, Secretary of Party
Committee Tran Van Nam appreciated the scale of the project.
At
the same time, in the process of investing in Binh Duong province, the company
should seriously and fully comply with provisions of Vietnamese law on
development of production and business, environmental protection, laborers'
rights and participation in social activities of the province. Provincial
leaders believe that, with high determination of company and support and
conditions of province, the project will be successful in the coming time,
contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province.
