Thanh Liem - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of PPC, Mr. Hoang
Viet Cuong - Deputy General Director of Department of Customs, along with leaders
of provincial Customs Departments in Southeast region, leaders of departments,
agencies, Thu Dau Mot People’s Committee, a number of businesses in the
province.
Speaking at the
ceremony, PPC Chairman Tran Thanh Liem welcomed and congratulated Binh Duong
Customs for having Thu Dau Mot Customs Branch. Chairman affirmed that, the
establishment and put Thu Dau Mot Customs Branch into operation is an important
step of the Customs Department of Binh Duong. Expressed the commitment of
provincial Custom for join hands and efforts with provincial functions
departments to promptly resolve difficulties and problems of business
community; created a new position and strength to enhance the integration as
well as Competitiveness Index of the province.
Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong - Deputy General Director of General
Department of Customs awarded the decision to establish Thu Dau Mot Customs
Branch to leaders of Thu Dau Mot Customs Branch.
To ensure Customs
Branch of Thu Dau Mot successfully putting into operation soon, Chairman
suggested Binh Duong Customs Department in close collaboration with all levels
and departments and agencies to facilitate Customs Branch of Thu Dau Mot held
steady early, timely meet work requirements. Always accompanied businesses solve
difficulties and problems arise; contributed to creating confidence in order to
attract more businesses to implement customs procedures locally. Thereby
increased revenues to budget, effectively prevents smuggles and trade fraud.

ensure local relevance always in harmony with international standards and
contributed to build healthy and equal business environment and opportunities
for business community to invest in the province.
Thu Dau Mot Customs
Branch established on the basis of upgrading customs team of Binh Duong
Industrial - Service - Residential Complex to contribute to meet the needs of
businesses in the Complex; to
create an important premise for administrative procedures reform and raise the
quality of service for export and import activities of investors; shorten time,
reduce transportation costs and freight. At the same time, ensure timely
delivery and timely supply of raw materials to businesses operating in the
Complex. Thu Dau Mot Customs Branch has 15 civil servants. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu
Hong was appointed Director of Branch.
