At the meeting, Mr Hari Achuthan said, ACO Investment Group operates in the renewable energy field. The Group has 100 years of experience in business, operational management and maintenance of projects to produce solar power for consumption, power panels on roof and wind power. The group has carried out several electricity production projects around the world. In Vietnam, the Group is setting up investment projects of US $ 100 million to develop 100 MW solar power using PV panels in Ninh Thuan province. Mr. Hari Achuthan wished to cooperate with Binh Duong in the field of renewable energy, especially solar power and power from solid waste in the province.

Vice Chairman of PPC Tran Thanh Liem said, the province's electricity demand is very large. He welcomed the interest of ACO Investment Group, consistent with the trend called for investment in the province, which priority for attraction investment from major international corporations, foreign firms that have qualified technical and modern production technology. Vice Chairman of PPC appreciated energy saving projects as well as effective solutions of power projects of Group, at the same time stressed provincial leaders to create best conditions for the Group to explore investment opportunities in Binh Duong.
