The "Sentimental bus" program launched by provincial Labor Union with the support of enterprises has given more than 7,000 Tet bus tickets for disadvantaged workers over the past six years. This year, it has offered Tet bus tickets to 3,024 poor workers from central, northern and Mekong Delta provinces plus meal allowances between VND100,000-VND200,000 each with a total expense of around VND3.5billion.
On the occasion of the Tet festival 2017, authorities at all levels of the province have also offered 8,400 gifts worth nearly VND4.2billion extracted from State budget to needy workers. Trade Unions and authorities at all levels of the province have also mobilized enterprises to support 15,000 bus tickets worth more than VND13billion; visited and gave around 400,000 gifts worth more than VN170billion for poor workers.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Hung emphasized that Binh Duong's socio-economic achievements last year came from the efforts by the local Party, government, people and enterprises. Workers from all parts of the country also made contributions to these achievements. Over the past time, the province organized a variety of activities taking care of workers' spiritual and material lives, contributing to building up a more prosperous and beautiful Binh Duong homeland.
At the ceremony, provincial leaders also extended best regards, presented gifts to workers while wishing them a joyful and warm Tet together with their families.
