At the reception, both sides have introduced generally socio-economic status of the two localities. Accordingly, Binh Duong Province has been evaluated as a locality of high and stable economic growth. In 2010-2015, Provincial GDP has been averagely 14% per annum. Currently, 28 industrial parks in the province are operating on nearly 10,000 ha of land to accommodate 2,789 projects of foreign investment of totally US$ 25.274 billion from 59 nations and territories in the world. Binh Duong Province has signed cooperation deals with 9 foreign localities. Mai Hung Dung, the permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee informed of the achievements and on-going efforts to resolve pressure of healthcare, education, traffic and transportation, housing, and security.
Mao Phirun, the Kandal Provincial Governor thanked the warm welcome and reception of provincial leaders and expressed his impress for local development of Binh Duong Province. He informed that Kandal Province covers 3,211 km2 with population of over 1 million in major agricultural production. By the visit, Mao Phirun thanked for technical help of Binh Duong Provincial Military HQ and Kandal sub-zone and the signed military deal on May 29, 2015. Currently, Kandal Province is in cooperation with many other localities of Vietnam to seek for and excavate burial grounds of fallen volunteer soldiers of Vietnam in Cambodia. In good term of military cooperation, Mao Phirun wished to foster cooperation with Binh Duong Province in many other fields.
Mai Hung Dung, the permanent Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Committee was hopeful that the working visit should open up more cooperation in the fields of economics, culture, and society to enhance the friendly tie of Binh Duong and Kandal.
