At the reception, the newly-accredited U.S. Consulate General thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome and said that she was impressed by the flexible development of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. As surveyed, Binh Duong's investment climate is highly appreciated by U.S. investors operating in the province. She hoped that the province will continue creating advantageous conditions for U.S. investors to more effectively work.

Mr.Liem said that over the past time, Binh Duong focused on building up a perfect and synchronous infrastructure system, boosted administrative reform and flexibly applied policies to absorb investors. Hence, Binh Duong is one of the country's top localities in FDI attraction with more than US$25billion. Among FDI projects in the province, there are 86 from U.S investors with total capital of more than US$700million. Provincial leaders have always created favorable conditions for foreign investors in general and ones from the U.S in particular to work effectively.

He also wished Mrs.Mary Tarnowka a successful term of office in Vietnam while wanting her to further popularize Binh Duong's investment climate so that the province can absorb more U.S. investors.
