Attending the event were Truong Dinh Tuyen, former Minister of Commerce; Ambassador Tran Ngoc An, Head of the Department for multi-economic relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Pham Chi Lan, former Vice-President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Association; economic researchers in the Southeastern region together with industries' associations, sectors and departments in the province. Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the talk show.
The talk show focused on 5 main issues: the world's situation, the country's foreign relations and international integration in the new period; the ASEAN Economic Community, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and free trade agreements (FTAs); labor commitment in the TPP; investment commitment in the TPP; garment-textile commitment in the TPP-opportunities and challenges; international economic integration in the new period-issues for the locality and enterprises.
