Initially Emmen City's Mayor Cees
Bijl congratulated Mr. Tran Van Nam on his new position. He hoped that
Mr. Nam would further strengthen the relations between two localities in
the future. Mayor Cees Bijl added that the relations would greatly
facilitate the cooperation of enterprises and universities.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.
Tran Van Nam acclaimed the development of Emmen city. He also briefly
informed that the Netherlands is currently the 7th largest investor with
21 projects and US$ 683 million of investment capital. Provincial
authorities wished to boost cooperation with Emmen city on areas such as
industry, hightech agriculture, ect as well as call for investment from
the city.

The MoU signing ceremony between
Binh Duong province and Emmen city took place after the working session.
The Parties strengthen the friendly cooperation relations and promote
cooperation in areas: economics, trade, services, tourism, import export
and investment cooperation. Initially, the Parties give priority to
delegations that conduct market survey activities in order to boost
activities on trade, investment cooperation, import export that suits
the Parties’ potentials and strengths and support the operation of small
and medium-sized enterprises.

The Parties endeavor to establish a
sustainable relation on the basis of mutual efforts in boosting
socio-economic development of two localities then establish the friendly
cooperation relations between two sides.
