Party 2: Social infrastructure investments  BEGIC - Implementing the provincial program, social
infrastructure has been concentrated with investments for development,
ensuring social welfare and success of provincial socio-economic plans.
Medical and education infrastructure couple with concentrated investments
 
As for medical infrastructure, the constructions of Center for Reproductive Healthcare, the waste collecting system for medical wastes, Eastern International Hospital, and the 1,500-bed general hospital at the cost of over VND 2,318 billion from the budget and lottery funding have been prioritized for construction.
   
The 1,500-bed general hospital will be contributive to the harmonious development of technical infrastructure of the detail planning for health services. Concurrently, people are more accessible to advanced medical services thanks to advanced science and technology.
 
The infrastructure for education, training, vocational training, facilities, equipment, and teaching staffs have fundamentally met the learning and teaching demands of teachers and students in the province. According to Department of Education and Training, up to date, the province has 8 universities, 1 college and 9 junior vocational colleges. Besides, private vocational schools have been invested to be upgraded and fulfilled. In the province, 64 vocational schools including 5 colleges, 8 junior colleges, 12 centers and 39 other establishments have registered for vocational training.

Social housing is expanding
 
In 5 years of implementing social housing development in Binh Duong Province from 2011 to 2015 of Binh Duong Provincial Standing Board of Party Committee, 82 social housing projects have been established covering 3,899,949 square meters meeting the demands of 238,325 people. Of the projects, 43 belong to Becamex IDC which has paid out VND 19,034 billion in investments. Up to date, 22 projects have been fulfilled and put into use meeting demands of 36,860 people. It is expected that by the end of 2015, 34 more projects will be fulfilled and put into use meeting demands of 63,933 people gaining 59.30% of the proposed program.
  
The development of social housing projects will facilitate settlement of working people and socio-economic development of the province in fast, sustainable and stable manner in the new stage as the pathway of breakthroughs for the community benefits and social welfare. Accordingly, local people’s living quality will be improved.
    
The decisions of social housing construction in Binh Duong Province have helped working people to settle down and be assured for long-term working in Binh Duong Province. Accordingly, the operations of factories and plants in the province have been stable.
 
In 5 years, Binh Duong Province has 210 projects invested into social infrastructure at totally VND 8,548 billion (Particularly: education infrastructure investments of 157 projects at totally 5,716 billion; 38 medical infrastructure projects at nearly VND 2,361 billion; 15 cultural and social infrastructure projects of over VND 471 billion).
