Absorbing investors in trade-service
In the 2011 and 2015 period,
businesses and retail groups at home and abroad have actively poured
investment into trade-service sector. Therefore, there has been a
synchronous and modern investment in supermarket and trade center
system, contributing to stabilizing supply of essential commodities at
people’s demand for goods exchange.
Province-based trade centers,
supermarkets and convenience stores, namely Vinatex, Co.opmart, Metro,
Big C, Lotte Mart, Becamex Tower, Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary…, have
brought locals advantages and safety in shopping, thereby affirming the
local sharp development on modern trade system.

Towards synchronous development in trade-service
The whole province is now home to 11
supermarkets and 7 trade centers at customers’ demand for shopping.
There is an increase in the number of foreign and domestic businesses in
the domain of trade. Currently, there are lots of supermarkets and
trade centers under construction like Canary (Guocoland), Carven in
Thuan An town, Phu Cuong trade-service center in TDM city’s Phu Cuong
ward…, bringing a promise of strong growth for trade proportion in the
local economic structure.
At meetings on the province’s
development of market, supermarket and trade system till 2020 and
dialogues with businesses in the trade-service domain, provincial
People’s Committee Permanent Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem always
affirmed that there will be faster development for modern trade forms
amid the current international integration context. There’s a need for
harmonious development between urban economics and modern trade forms.
Mr.Liem stressed that for
trade-service sector developed under the above trend, Binh Duong will
create an equal investment environment, absorbing the participation of
all economic sectors while bringing them advantages on investment
procedures and other relevant conditions. The province will take
measures to bring into full play its internal strength in association
with external strength to accelerate industrialization in the domain of
trade. He believed that Binh Duong’s domain of trade will reach a
harmonious and synchronous evolution in the near future, thereby helping
the province get access to the region’s trade trend.
Binh
Duong’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services continued
soaring over the past five years with the annual average growth of
23.9%, higher than the target set out by the Resolution of provincial
Party Congress for the 2010-2015 tenure. Particularly, the province’s
total retail sales revenue was VND24.395trillion in 2010. The figure
