informed each other of the local socio-economic performance.
Particularly, Binh Duong in the first five months of 2016 absorbed
US$875.5mln in FDI capital from 87 newly-licensed projects and 46
extra-ones. The whole province has to date lured more than 2,000 FDI
projects capitalized at more than US$24billion.

cooperation in all aspects, especially in investment attraction from

Mr.Nam Vinhaket also expressed his
impression on Binh Duong’s development while saying that Attapu province
lies in the southern region of Laos, bounded by Vietnam and Cambodia
and it also lies in the heart of the Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia
development triangle area. The province has an economic structure with
36.6% of industrial manufacture, 35.2% of services, 28.2% of
agro-forestry. The province’s total export turnover in 2015 surged
around 1.984 trillion LAK. The average GDP per capita here reached
US$1,770. Hence, during the visit, he wanted to receive exchange in
investment cooperation in all aspects, especially in investment
attraction from Binh Duong.

Leaders of Binh Duong asserted that
Binh Duong has always hailed all-round cooperation between the two
localities. The delegation’s visit will be the premise for long-term
cooperation between the two localities. Mr.Nam said that Binh Duong has
actively implemented all contents of the agreement on investment
cooperation between the locality and Laos’Champasac province to maintain
the fine traditional relationship and active cooperation in all aspects
between Vietnam and Laos. He also wanted that Binh Duong and localities
in Laos will boost cooperation in many aspects in the coming time.
Leaders of the two localities’sectors
and departments also shared mutual experience in socio-economic
development; introduced potentials, opportunities and projects to call
for investment from the two localities.
