At the meeting, reports on direction and command of Provincial People’s Committee by August 2016, socio-economic status, national defense-security, draft resolution of working regulations of Provincial People’s Committee and draft resolution of allocating members of Provincial People’s Committee for the 9^th tenure from 2016 to 2021 have been delivered.

Under the reports, by August 2016, resolutions of the government, Provincial People’s Committee, People’s Council have been grasped up by local people’s committees and chairs and deputy chairs. Socio-economic development and national defense-security tasks are implemented. Provincial People’s Committee has issued 05 legal resolutions, 269 distinctive decisions, 02 directives, 15 submission, 05 plans, 28 reports, and 474 directing documents. Provincial People’s Committee Secretariat by the authorization of its Chair has issued 17 notices regarding the conclusions of its Chair and deputy chairs at the meetings.

 In August Industrial Index of Production increases by 21.2% higher than previous term

Regarding socio-economic status in August 2016, Provincial People’s Committee has focused on implementing measures and tasks for stable socio-economic development of the province. Industrial index of production (IIP) has increased by 21.2% higher than previous term. Commerce-service activities have been hustle. Exportation revenue is estimated at US$ 1.934 billion to accumulate to US$ 14.476 billion which is 16.1% higher than in previous term. Major exporting commodities have highly grown from previous term. In the month, foreign investment has poured US$ 211.1 million including US$ 110.2 million into 36 new projects making up total quantity by August to 177 new projects and 90 projects of capital increase, totally at US$ 1.456 billion. Budget collection in August is estimated to gain VND 2,900 billion adding up to VND 26,500 billion by August, increasing by 11% higher than previous term and equal to 68% of estimation of Provincial People’s Council.

In the field of society and culture, on marking 69^th anniversary of Martyr Day, the care for socially-privileged subjects has been thoroughly implemented with various visits, gift donation, meeting, charity house donation, and saving account donation have been offered to 44,858 turns of beneficial subjects. The job transaction session of August has just introduced jobs to 1,369 working people. The Department of Education and Training has summed up 2015-2016 academic school year and implemented orientation for 2016-2017. National defense and political security have been firmly maintained.

In September 2016, Provincial People’s Committee shall focus on some major tasks such as continual implementation of disbursement measures for public investment and fulfillment of My Phuoc - Tan Van Highway. Effective and synchronous policies of society and welfare should be implemented to offer those contributors to the revolutionary cause and the poor support.

 Chair of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Liem concludes the meeting

Concluding the meeting, Tran Thanh Liem, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee basically agreed upon the meeting contents. He demanded functional agencies to follow up and monitor activities of enterprises and commodity associations to timely remove barrier and obstacles under the direction of the government. Meeting and dialogue with investing enterprises should be continued with concentration on measures to boost disbursement for capital construction projects. Department of Construction was demanded to review urban criteria to report to Provincial Party Committee. Social welfare for socially privileged subjects and the poor should be assured. Administrative reforms and investment attraction should be promoted.
