At the reception Bernabé Garcia Valido extended his gratitude to the provincial leaders for the reception and informed that the trip was to exchange and learn about foreign investment attraction in Binh Duong Province. He highly appreciated the fast development of Binh Duong Province and was impressed with industrial development. He stressed on tight and long-term relationship of Cuba and Vietnam by which he wished for experience sharing from Binh Duong Province while calling upon Vietnamese enterprises to invest more into Cuba for the time to come.

On introducing socio-economic status of Binh Duong Province, Tran Thanh Liem, the Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of Provincial People’s Committee shared that Binh Duong Province has flexibly made use of central government policies to construct infrastructure and investment environment for enterprises. Currently, over 2,000 foreign enterprises have been located in Binh Duong Province with total investment of nearly US$ 25 billion. He welcomed the delegation and promised to facilitate enterprise connection from Cuba to Binh Duong Province.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and worked with Maruh Chemical Vietnam Co. Ltd. in VSIP II.
