At
the meeting, Mr. Hong Ha Jong thanked provincial leadership for warmly
receiving the delegation. He said, the visit purpose was to learn about the
investment climate of Binh Duong. Introducing briefly the company, he said, DSR
Company was one big Korean company specializing in the manufacture of steel
cables and ropes used in marine industry and construction of cable-stayed
bridge. Currently, the company has five production plants in Korea, their
products are exported to more than 190 countries worldwide.
Mr. Dang

The
company has learned about investment environment in many provinces and cities of
Vietnam, including Binh Duong. He found that Binh Duong was a locality having very
attractive investment environment with good infrastructure and traffic
connection. Therefore, company management will develop a plant in Binh Duong with
a total investment of about $60 million. He hoped that provincial leaders and
agencies would support the company in investment procedures, create favorable
conditions for the company to operate efficiently.
Mr. Dang
Minh Hung appreciated the development orientation of DSR Company. He said, Binh
Duong is one of five leading provinces in investment attraction with a total
project number of 2,735 FDI projects and total investment capital of $24.9
billion. In particular, Korea has 575 investment projects in Binh Duong with a total
capital of over $2.3 billion, these projects have been deployed efficiently in Binh
Duong. To create a better environment for investors, in the future, the
province will continue to develop transport infrastructure, power and water
system; cultivate high-quality human resources; enhance administrative procedure
reform in order to improve national competitiveness index, create a friendly
investment environment. Mr. Hung also affirmed, provincial leaders and agencies
would create favorable conditions for DSR Company to successfully carry out the
project in Binh Duong.
