Binh Duong province has over 60% businesses making minimum wage adjustments

​BEGIC - Binh Duong province currently has more than 60% businesses with
Trade Union organizations making minimum wage adjustments in payroll
according to Decree 122 of the Government. The remaining businesses are
in the process of negotiations. The latest survey at FDI enterprises
showed that the adjusted wage for manufacture workers was minimally over
VND3.7 million / person / month; maximally VND7.5 million / person /
month, and averagely VND5.5 million / person / month.
To meet production demands in 2016, companies in provincial industrial zones are in lack of about 45,000 new jobs, mostly unskilled workers. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Head of Job Introduction (provincial Employment Service Center), said the center received hundreds of businesses recruitment announcement for tens thousand of jobs. Namely, businesses recruitment demands at job transaction floors are nearly 25,000 workers, including 75% urgent hiring of skilled workers. Some industries having high recruitment demands are wood processing, construction, office, transport services, insurance, electronics, garment, footwear, food processing, engineering and bodyguard.
