Wood and wooden product importation to grow by 3-5% in 2016

Vietnam Association of Wood and Forestry Products estimates that wood
and wooden product importation into Vietnam will grow by 3-5% as real
estate markets have been revived causing the rising demands for wood
materials and commodities in domestic market.

Besides, ASEAN nations will intensify exportation of wood and wooden products to Vietnam. Moreover, demands for wood materials in Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province, and elsewhere will be larger, prompting the importation of wood to rise from 2015.
