In addition, water supply plants in the province have also been upgraded with the state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. Along with advantages from two big rivers Saigon and Dong Nai, they have ensured water supply, serving the local urban and industrial development process.
Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee said that the province has built a waste water treatment system under the long-term and sustainable trend along with other urban infrastructure facilities for the sake of the local urban development today and in the future.

Together with industrial development and FDI attraction, Binh Duong over the past five years paid attention to urban development in association with improving locals’ lives and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas.
On the spirit, Binh Duong has been developed under the model of “urban bunch” to bring into full play internal and external strength for the local development and construction.
This is obviously expressed in the urban development project around Suoi Tien station invested by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC) and Becamex Tokyu Joint Venture Company. The project aims to uphold advantages and wait in front for opportunities from the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro route, thereby helping making urban rejuvenation in Di An towards urban-service growth and investment attraction improvement. Other urban satellites like Thuan An, Tan Uyen, Ben Cat have also continued being rejuvenated in a combination between internal and external strength.
