Japanese businesses also presented their queries pertaining to customs procedures such as the certificates for food safety-hygiene when making import procedures, the time of submitting accounting reports for export production, the grant of the same codes…These queries received obvious answers from representative of the department. The department also acknowledged the issues beyond competence to submit them to higher authorities for solutions in the soonest time.
Addressing the conference, Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung, Head of provincial Customs Department said that most Japanese businesses operating in the province have always had good coordination with the local customs agency in executing export-import precedures. Many have got more thriving and expanded production, actively contributing to the local economic growth. Over the past time, province-based Japanese Business Association and the local customs agency opportunely dealth with Japanese businesses’queries in production and business.
The dialogue aimed to further help Japanese businesses expand production, fully tap preferential policies from free trade agreements, learn about new regulations on customs producures while grasping their difficulties when making customs procedures for timely support.
