At commence ceremony of the building and development of Binh Duong New City and the opening ceremony of the provincial Integrated Administration Center on February 20, the provincial People’s Committee announced some projects started in 2014. Under attention of local administration and effort of enterprises, many projects have been completed and put into use in this year, contributing importantly to local socio-economic development.

At the construction site of road leading to the provincial administration center, working ambience are very lively and urgently. Workers at the site have made greater efforts to fulfill final items of the site for the opening in the next week.
 
Meanwhile, express buses of Becamex Tokyu Company have been operated with the route from Thu Dau Mot city to Binh Duong New City.
 
The above 2 projects belong to traffic field surpassing the set plans. Meanwhile, urban area announced in 2014 has been fulfilled with detailed project of Sora Gardens I trade complex and hi-grade apartment area. This is the first project under Tokyu urban area project, capitalized at US$1.2bil invested by Becamex Tokyu Company. Until now, Sora Gardens I has been basically completed and prepared for operation, contributing to cater for life and creating important breakthrough for Binh Duong new city and making up local investment attraction, especially investment absorption of Japanese companies.
 
In terms of projects under trade infrastructure development announced in the year 2014, Aeon Binh Duong Canary shopping mall was just inaugurated in the past month. With effort of Aeon Corporation of Japan, the US$95mil project has been put into operation, becoming the most state-of-the-art and biggest trade area in the region.

Among projects announced in the year of 2014, Logistic Tan Van Center and port compound at 2 wards of Binh Thang and Binh An under Di An town were started at the same time. These are important projects with the purpose of becoming a logistics center of Southern provinces, a container depot under overall logistics service strategy.
 
At present, investor of the logistic center project is the very Thai Binh Shoes Corporation (TBS) has accelerated the project progress. Meanwhile, An Son port at Thuan An town invested by Thanh Le Import-Export, Trade Co.Ltd. (Thalexim) has been basically completed key items, contributing to reduce pressure of overloaded road system.
 
A series of big projects announced in 2014 under operation show local administration’s determination in perfecting local socio-economic infrastructure. According to the provincial People’s Committee, this result is thanks to close attention, instruction, effort of local leaders and determination of investors for the sake of completion of projects. This result also contributes to perfect socio-economic infrastructure, taking Binh Duong into a central city prior to 2020. in addition, this is also a firm foundation to help investors satisfy Binh Duong’s investment environment.
