In October 2011, the industrial production reached 11,878 billion VND, a growth of 3.4% compared with last month and 16.5% with the same period in 2010. Industrial products experienced the high rate in comparison with the last period such as fresh milk, textile, plywood… rose 14.6%, 15.1%, 16.1% respectively.

 

Total revenue of goods retail and services estimated 4,458 billion VND, up 0.8% compared with September 2011 and 25.6% with the same period of 2010. Price was relatively stable; consumption price index rose to account 0.24% in comparison with last month; price of clothes, shoes was high because of increasing materials cost and production expense.

 

 

 

It is estimated that goods transportation increased by 5.7 percent, goods rotation gained 4.8 percent and the revenue went up to 4.1 percent comparing with September 2011. Passenger transportation grew up to 4.6 percent, passenger rotation increased by 3.4 percent and the revenuer step up to 0.3 percent in comparison with the previous month.

 

Export turnover won US$1.36bil, over 4% in comparison with September, 19.8% over the same period last year.  The accumulation reached more than 8 million US dollars in which domestic capital made up 19% and 81% from foreign investment. Other goods such as rubber, pepper and electronic appliances grew from 10.9% to 44.8%.

 

Import turnover estimated US$ 926 million, up 2.9% against the previous month and 16.7% compared with the same period last year.  The commutation reached more than US$ 7,067 billion in which domestic investment made up 24.3% and the rest was 75.7% from foreign investment. Dairy products, chemicals, textiles… were the products that had import turnover grew from 11.3% to 22.4%.

 

Investment for development gained 2,124 billion VND, equivalent to 55.7% of the adjusted plan, total issued capital was 2,458 billion VND, up 64.4 percent of the plan, in which, provincial budget reached 57.8% and districts and towns capitals attained 54.1% of the proposed plan.

 

Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex) was allowed to issue corporation bonds in order to construct Binh Duong Industrial – Service and Residential Complex with the total mobilized capital of 1,500 billion VND in the term from three to five years.

 

73 enterprises have been established with the total capital of 760 billion VND. The accumulated newly-registered enterprises were 1,402 with the total investment capital of 25,454 billion VND. Foreign investment accounted US$ 89,8 million including 7 new projects with the total capital of US$ 26,8 million and 14 capital-increased projects of US$ 63 million. Industrial parks attracted up to US$ 88 million, equivalent to 98% investment capital of the whole province. Accumulation comprised 70 new projects and 103 capital-added projects with the total capital were US$ 822.1million

 

 

 

 

 

The new school year 2011-2012 was gradually in stable operation; training professional training courses were organized for managers, teachers, nursery teachers… and professional skills courses have been opened for kindergarteners in non-state preschool in the whole provincial.

 

Supporting policies were applied for each five-year child 120.000 VND per month during school- year in 29 underprivileged communes throughout the province. Propaganda activities were accelerated in preventing against epidemic diseases such asinfluenza A (H1N1) virus, pernicious diarrhoea, arm-leg-mouth diseases…

 

 

 

Offering two houses of affection worth 90 million VND for social welfare beneficiaries, 03 love-houses for underprivileged householders, 23 wheelchairs, 39 scholarships of 52.5 million VND; expense 10 billion VND for 2.741 beneficiaries of monthly unemployment allowance; Social security was well executed.

 

Cultural activities were organized such as: celebration of 50^th anniversary of Phuoc Thanh victory (18/9/1961 – 18/9/2011), inauguration ceremony of the memorial stele of Phuoc Hoa bridge (Phu Giao district); propaganda and mobilization of “Binh Dương,15 years of re-establishment and development” competition.

 

31 performances were organized for 17.000 local people and workers at industrial parks at Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng, Ben Cat districts…

 

Focusing on solving difficulties in compensating, site clearing work in order to promptly construct government- budget projects; Speeding up the project deployment such as: BOT traffic project, the Politic - Administrative center and social – housing projects.

Implementing flood and storms prevention plans, minimizing natural disasters; preparing adequate materials for rescue, proposing plan in case of running – off in riverside and streamside, evacuating promptly people in dangerous areas to safe places.

Intensifying the food hygiene supervision especially ensuring goods preservations for New- Lunar Year; review domestic and foreign pharmacy manufacturers; controlling and preventing epidemics: dengue, arm-leg-mouth diseases.
