Mr. Bui Van Nu, Director of Binh Duong State Bank of Vietnam and Mr. Tran Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training attended the ceremony. There are 1250 scholarships in Kienlong Bank’s program "Scholarships for high school students in 2014". The scholarships that worth VND 2.5 billion have been being awarded to high school students in 25 provinces who have disadvantage situation. In Binh Duong province, Kienlong Bank offered 50 scholarships (VND 2 million/each) to 50 high school students.
Speaking at the scholarship granting ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Toan – Kienlong Bank Deputy General Director said, "As the bank upholds human values and willingly support the community and society, Kienlong Bank always allocate a certain annual budget for charity activities and scholarships offering for students all over the country. These are practical actions that the bank contributes to the society. Along with several social organizations, the bank alleviates difficulties so that the students could continue their study, to become useful people, future of the country”.
