Kubota Corporation was established in 1890 with the head office in Osaka city, Japan; producing and trading agricultural machines and other industries all over the world. In Sep 2008, Kubota Vietnam Co., Ltd. was settled up with the purpose to mechanize Vietnamese agriculture, especially in the areas cultivating wet rice.
Kubota Viet Nam Co., Ltd. at Binh Duong was co-founded by Kubota Group – Japan and Siam Kubota Industry Co., Ltd - Thailand. The factory locating at My Phuoc 3 IP with the area of 5 hectares, total capital of the phase 1 was over US$11 millions, specialize in producing agricultural machines (such as ploughing machine, traction machine, combine harvester, etc.) and related equipments.
Deputy Minister Diep Kinh Tan confirmed that these agricultural equipments of Kubota Vietnam Co., Ltd would promote the mechanization in agricultural production, improve product quality, reduce producing cost and enhance competition in agriculture especially for the post-harvest products.
