Mr. Ching Kwok Leung - General director of Mega Step Electronics Vietnam Co. Ltd stated that after the incident, the company’s leaders quickly tackled the problems to resume normal activities. However due to the company’s product that is motherboard therefore damage inspection process is quite slow. Currently, the company is sorting out undamaged products to deliver to partners.

At the working session, Chairman Le Thanh Cung appreciated the company’s efforts in resuming their production. He demanded the company to contact with the provincial department of taxation and customs to restore data, complete the procedure to receive Government support. The province also submitted the petition to the Government and the Ministry of Finance to pay salary for workers which would be deducted from corporation tax.
Binh Duong province also proposed to the Ministry of Finance to quickly repair corporate’ damage. Binh Duong province authorities would apply all policies under the direction of the Government as well as within provincial jurisdiction to create favorable conditions for companies to resume their normal activities as well as expand their business.
On June 18, Binh Duong province announced support program for damaged businesses (phase 1) in which Mega Step Electronics Vietnam Co. Ltd enjoyed land lease fee exemption and tax extension in 2 years with total money of over VND 340 million.
