At the meeting, Mr. Mai The Trung, Party’s Committee Secretary, informed some achievements Binh Duong gained in 2012. Although, Viet Nam social - economic situation were under many difficulties and challenges, Binh Duong social - economic continued got good results; GDP increased up to 12.5%, economic structure with industry and service hold over 96%, agriculture got below 4%. Foreign investment attracting continued increasing, exceed the proposed plan. He also praised the relationship between Binh Duong province and Karatie province during the past time in many fields. It showed the long – term relationship and development between two provinces in participate and Viet Nam - Cambodia in general.
Mr. So Chom Rong, Party’s Committee Secretary, Chairman of Karatie People’s Committee expressed his strong impression on achievements Binh Duong got in 2012. During the past time, Binh Duong helped Karatie in many fields, especially in agriculture. He hoped, the relationship of Binh Duong and Karatie would be built up strongly in a spirit of friendship and development.
