At the meeting, Chairman Le Thanh Cung informed that currently the province has planned 5 riverside ports, in which Tan Ba Port (Tan Uyen District) will be the regional port to create waterway exchange center among Binh Duong – Dong Nai – Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, Thanh Phuoc Port (Tan Uyen) Phase 1 has been put into operation with the capacity of more than 5 million tons of goods annually, creating favorable conditions for waterway transportation of goods containers among Binh Duong province and neighboring locations, reducing costs for enterprises.
In terms of real estates field, Chairman Le Thanh Cung also informed that, Binh Duong province focuses on investment targeting to be a modern and civilized urban in the future. The investment of Tokyu Corp. (Japan) into the urban in Binh Duong New City with the capital of more than 1.2 billion US dollars is a first important step for the course of urban development and modernization of Binh Duong.
With the given information, Mr. Deepark Gupta hoped this working trip in Binh Duong province would provide the company with more information for investment opportunities into port and real estates fields of Binh Duong province in the time to come.
