Binh Duong leader welcomed with General Director of ASHARA Corporation

BEGIC - November 21, at Binh Duong People’s Committee hall, Binh Duong People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Nam and Mr. Zvi Chalamish, General Director of The Israel Export Insurance Corporation Ltd. (ASHARA) had a meeting on Optic Cable Plant project in Binh Duong province.
 
 
According to Mr. Zvi Chalamish, ASHARA is Insurance Corporation assuring exportation for Israeli firms, 80% of which are technology exportation (transfer). Optic Cable Plant project in Bau Bang Industrial Park of Binh Duong province is the first project in Vietnam after the signature of the Vietnam-Israel Financial Protocol in 2007. However, the construction of the Cable Optic plant lasts and faces difficulties because of the modern technology transfer.
 
In his speech, Mr. Tran Van Nam appreciated Optic Cable Plant in Binh Duong province. The project will contribute to the acceleration of the provincial export turnover. Binh Duong leader will create the favourable conditions in order to complete and operate this manufacturer as planned.
 
* In the morning, Binh Duong People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Nam also had a meeting with Ms. Shiri Granot, Department of Israeli Insurance Assuring – Israeli Ministry of Finance on Binh Duong policies of foreign investor attraction.
 
Cable Optic Plant started to break ground in May 20, 2009 in Bau Bang Industrial Park ( Ben Cat district, Binh Duong province).This is the first optic cable plant in the South East Asia on an area of about 8 hectares (4 hectares in the first phase), includes a fiber optic cable facility and an ultra-pure gas facility. The total investment capital is US$176 million, and the technology was transferred by UPC Company – Israel’s leading optic cable firm with 2.0 standard fiber optic production process, new generation by hybridization method; materials from silicate and ultra pure gas mix (99.9999% of purity). Once coming into operation in June 2012, the factory is expected to produce one million kilometers of optic cables a year to meet the domestic demand and exportation.
