Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Van Phuong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the district SC for Covid-19 prevention and control, members of the district SC and the communes and towns SC for pandemic prevention and control in the district.
By the morning of August 3, 2020, there were 621 cases of Covid-19 infection in the whole country, 06 cases of deaths, and the total number of quarantined people was more than 103,000. Currently, no cases have been detected in Binh Duong province. In Bac Tan Uyen district, the number of cases under management is 77 cases going from the pandemic areas of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to the district, all cases have implemented health declaration and health monitoring daily, including 17 cases of quarantining at the place of residence, 50 cases of daily health monitoring and 10 cases of foreigners entering Vietnam were quarantined at other units and were monitored for an additional 14 days.
Before the complicated situation of Covid-19 pandemic which can penetrate into Bac Tan Uyen district, after listening to members of the SC of districts, communes and towns reporting the current situation and the preparation, concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Phuong suggested that members of the SCs of district, communes and towns are not subjective, neglecting in the pandemic prevention and control and continue to comply with the spirit of the Prime Minister’s Directive no. 19/CT-TTg on continuing to implement measures to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic in the new situation; prepare concentrated quarantine areas and equipment for pandemic prevention and control in the locality; strengthen propaganda and communication to mobilize people to implement measures to prevent and control the pandemic, especially in crowded areas such as markets, restaurants, etc.; firmly grasp the situation and strictly manage foreigners who enter Vietnam in the district and drivers of coaches, especially trucks transporting agricultural products from North to South provinces.
