Department of Natural Resources and Environment responded:
- Under the land use planning up to 2020, the first 5 year land use plan (2011-2015) Binh Duong Province was approved by the Government in Resolution No.78/NQCP dated June 19th 2013, the area of education land in 2020 in Binh Duong province is 1.864 hectares, an increase of 778 hectares compared to 2010. Of which: for the university system, there are 03 new schools, including University urban zone located in two areas of Tan Uyen and Ben Cat (Bau Bang and Bac Tan Uyen) with an area of about 630 hectares, Vietnam-Germany University in Ben Cat 50 hectares, Thu Dau Mot University in Ben Cat 57 hectares.
In particular, for the University system plans three schools including the Green Gate University (Bau Bang) with an area of 677 haectares, Medical University (Bau Bang, Ben Cat) with an area of 192 hectares, Thu Dau Mot University (Ben Cat) with an area of 53 hectares; Water Resources University expands 04 hectares; In addition, the province has a 3,3 hectares land fund in Hiep An Ward, Thu Dau Mot previously assigned to the Economy – Technology South East Secondary schools, but due to financial difficulties, the unit have hand over project land to the Provincial People's Committee for management.
- According to the regulation, the establishment of a university under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Training shall be submitted to the Government for consideration and decision.
- To have a land fund to build the International School as suggested by the Korean Department of Hanmam University, The Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposes unit to articulate some of the contents:
+ The establishment of School in form of cooperation between two governments (Vietnam and Korea) or the establishment of economic organizations to invest in the implementation of project in form of socialization.
+ Expected location and demand for land fund size for arranging International School.
+ It is recommended to organize a field trip to select investment location. After determining form of investment, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will guide land procedures in accordance with the law.
