At the conference, Mr. Tran Minh Tuan - Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society, Ministry of Information and Communications presented an overview report on the program to promote digital transformation for enterprises and implementation orientation for Binh Duong Province. In 2022, the proportion of Binh Duong province's digital economy accounted for 11.34% of the province's GRDP, ranked 14/63 provinces and cities nationwide and ranked 2nd in the Southeast region. This is a positive signal showing the province's efforts to promote digital transformation and develop the digital economy.
Leader of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society proposed a number of solutions for enterprise transformation: Deploying digital transformation of industries and fields according to 10 digital platform groups in 2023-2024; pioneering in choosing to deploy digital transformation of some stages in each industry and field to online, using these online stages to speed up and promote remaining stages in industries; pioneering the application of virtual assistants and AI developed by Viet Nam to all stages of production; piloting digital economic assessment, up to the district level under the province; piloting a data exchange platform; digital transformation to build smart urban models and smart industrial parks, etc.
