The section through Binh Duong province is about 31.6 kilometers long, has been cleared with a 40 meters wide road base and built a number of items on the road. Deo Ca Group is the winning bidder for package XL1 - Construction of section Km10+000 - Km41+150 (including Phuoc Hoa Canal bridge, Cay Truong bridge, Ba Tu bridge, Thi Tinh bridge, Suoi Tre bridge, Thanh An bridge). The bidding package has a construction value of more than 681 billion VND, and the contract implementation period is 730 days. The project has a 6-lane expressway scale, expected to be completed in 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam - Deputy Minister of Transport emphasized that the Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section is a route in the planning of the Western North South Expressway of the country (Ho Chi Minh road of expressway standard). This is a meaningful project with an important role, creating a driving force to promote socio-economic development, attract investment, and expand the urban - industrial - trade - tourism - service development space of the Southeast region. When completed, the Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa road will connect traffic smoothly and shorten time from the Central Highlands provinces through the Southeast region to the Southwest provinces, gradually completing the inter-regional road traffic system, reducing traffic on existing roads.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the PPC emphasized that for Binh Duong province, the road helps complete the road system in the Northwest of the province, opening up a new connection direction for Binh Duong province with surrounding provinces, especially connecting industrial parks in the province with raw material areas in the Central Highlands and Southwest; at the same time, accelerating the formation and development of the expanded Bau Bang Industrial Park, Cay Truong Industrial Park to soon become a High-Tech Park, an innovation area according to the socio-economic planning orientation of Binh Duong province to 2040, with an orientation to 2050.
