According to the plan, the Traffic Police force will coordinate with functional units to conduct general control over business cars transporting passengers and transporting goods by container throughout the province during the period from August 15 to October 15, 2023.
Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police said, through general control, in order to promptly detect, prevent, and resolutely handle violations of: Alcohol concentration; drug; vehicles that have expired, have expired inspection, are oversized or overloaded; speed; road section, lane; stopping, picking up or dropping off passengers at the wrong place; carrying more than the prescribed number of people; avoiding, overtaking, etc.; driver's license, vehicle registration, certificate or technical safety and environmental protection inspection stamp which are fake or not issued by a competent authority. Violations of road transport activities such as: Carrying more than the prescribed number of people; transport orders, routes, schedules, transport itineraries; transport contract, list of passengers; installing surveillance cameras and trip monitoring equipment on transport business cars; badges, vehicle driving time, etc.

Besides, control to detect and promptly prevent cases of illegal storage and transportation of weapons; explosive materials; waste, banned substances not in accordance with regulations; support means and vehicles which transport people to petition, demonstrate illegally, enter or exit illegally, etc.
Through general control activities, the Traffic Police force proactively coordinates with professional units to effectively fight crimes operating on road traffic routes such as: Robbery, snatching, subject with wanted warrants; transporting drugs, contraband goods, trade fraud, waste, banned substances, resisting people on duty, etc.
During the general control process, the forces simultaneously organize propaganda and mobilize people, enterprise owners, and individuals doing business in passenger and goods transportation by container to commit to strictly complying with regulations on traffic safety, from that, creating a positive change in the awareness and sense of obeying traffic laws of vehicle owners and drivers, contributing to limiting traffic accidents, especially the very serious traffic accidents, especially serious related to passenger transport vehicles and container transport vehicles.
