​PORTAL - On the morning of March 28, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies chaired an online meeting between the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in the province with 9 districts, towns and cities.

​Attending were Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Chanh - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

As reported by the Department of Health, in the past 07 days (from March 21, 2022 to March 27, 2022), the province had 12,992 cases of Covid-19 (down 36.6% from last week); On average, 1,856 new cases were announced every day.

Assessing the pandemic level in the province in the past week, there were 44 communes, wards and commune-level towns at level 1 (decreased by 03 commune-level units); 16 communes, wards and commune-level towns of level 2 (increased by 03 communes and wards); 31 communes, wards and commune-level towns of level 3 (no increase, no decrease).  Particularly, Ben Cat town has 100% of communes and wards at level 3 for 3 consecutive weeks. The number of recovered, discharged, and completed treatment cases was 27,163 cases (including rapid tests, down 31.5% from last week), average daily is 3,880 cases of recovery, discharge and completion of treatment. At the same time, there were 430 cases of F0 hospitalized at treatment facilities (down 48.6% compared to the previous week). Accumulated up to now, the province has injected 1,554,894 3rd doses of Covid-19 vaccine to people aged 18 years and over (reaching 79.9% compared to the population and 76.6% compared to the second dose). Having injected 376,199 doses for children aged 12 -17 years old. In which, first dose: 198,514 doses (reaching 126.06% of the population); second dose: 177,685 doses (reaching 112.83% of the population and 89.51% compared to the first dose).  According to the assessment of the Department of Health, the results implementing the Campaign up to March 27, 2022 have basically been completed and achieved the set goals.

At the meeting, localities reported on the pandemic situation in the past week, the treatment, vaccination and vaccination data input into the system, and preparing a vaccination plan for children aged 5-11 years old, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi assessed that the pandemic situation had been controlled, and the province had also performed well in treating Covid-19 patients. The Secretary requested localities to strengthen inspection and supervision, closely monitoring the pandemic prevention and control. Continuing to review vaccination for remaining people over 18 years old and the second dose for children 12-17 years old. Preparing the 4th dose for people over 18 years old when directed by the Central Government. Data input must be based on the comparison of population management data, population changes, especially promoting the grassroots political system, and data needs to be completed quickly.

Regarding the vaccination plan for children 5-11 years old, based on the actual situation of the localities, studying the appropriate and effective injection form. Data must be entered right after vaccination. The Health branch continues to arrange treatment facilities reasonably, allocate resources to anticipate situations. Treating early, remotely to reduce deaths, and must take care of each case. At the same time, there are in-depth seminars on post-Covid-19 treatment, improving the physical condition and health for those infected with Covid-19. Paying more attention to grassroots health care and improving the district hospital system.
