As reported, Bac Tan Uyen district currently has 10 communes and towns with 54 quarters and hamlets with a total population of over 80,000 people. Implementing the plan to expand the "green zone", gradually narrowing the "red zone", the district has carried out large-scale testing, epidemiological investigation, tracing and quarantine to quickly remove F0 from the community. Results of the first large-scale screening test reached 100% of households. Thereby, 1,349 suspected cases were detected, 1,062 cases had positive PCR results. Along with that, the district has locked down 45 locations, so far 19 locations have been lifted, and only 26 locations remain, including: 01 residential area, 2 markets, 23 companies and enterprises with 6,242 people. Accumulated up to now, the district has 804 cases being treated locally; 434 F1 cases, in which there are 28 cases in concentrated quarantine areas, 379 cases of quarantine at home, 27 cases of quarantine at the company and 1,512 F2 are being quarantined at home and company.

Up to now, the district has also completed the 2nd screening test to protect the "green zone" of 10,953 people in 10 communes and towns. Along with 1,541 vaccine vials distributed by the province, the district mobilized more social resources and administered a total of 17,930 doses to the subjects in accordance with regulations. With the results achieved, along with determination and focus on implementing solutions for pandemic prevention and control, the district has built 02 "green zone" communes including Hieu Liem and Lac An communes along with 05 "yellow zone" communes and towns including: Tan Dinh, Binh My, Tan Lap, Thuong Tan, Tan Thanh; the remaining 3 communes and towns including Tan Binh, Tan My and Dat Cuoc are currently "red zones". In addition to preparing a budget reserve of nearly 40 billion VND to serve the pandemic prevention and control; the district also mobilized human resources with nearly 200 youth union members, teachers, and civil servants participating in 8 large-scale Rapid test teams; established 90 Covid-19 Safety Groups in enterprises with 300 members; 209 enterprises signed a commitment to implement the "3 on the spot" plan, etc. In addition, the district has also advanced funding to support 3,473 people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic according to Resolution no. 68 of the Government with a total amount of over 5 billion 400 million VND.
Speaking to direct at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh highly appreciated the efforts and determination in the pandemic prevention and control of the entire political system in the district, thereby improving the effectiveness of pandemic prevention and control, protecting and maintaining the "green zone" on the province's Covid-19 map. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes that in the coming time, Bac Tan Uyen district will continue to better implement solutions for pandemic prevention and control, gradually narrowing the "red zone", further expanding the "green zone".
