Care for workers by practical activities
It can be seen, after 20 years of separation, Binh Duong has developed strongly with remarkable socio-economic achievements, infrastructure has been built in a synchronous manner, income per capita and people's life has been improved. Achieving that result has important contribution of labor force from all over the country come to Binh Duong to live and work. Thanks for that contribution, over past time, provincial sectors and levels have implemented many activities to take care of the material and spiritual life of labor force. In which, Workers ' Month and Youth Workers' Week in Binh Duong province have attracted workers to participate and supported by employers, bringing practical results.
In 2016, many exciting emulation movements were launched in response to Worker' Month and Youth Workers' Week in Binh Duong Province with the theme "Unions and labors accompanying with businesses for employment, laborers living and sustainable development of Binh Duong province". All levels and sectors of the province have effectively carried out emulation, associated with promotion of activities to take care of life such as visits, gifts for union members, labor, who have occupational accidents, workers in difficult circumstances, far from home, Tet festival caring for union members. With the attention of General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, in 2016, the provincial Labor Confederation has started construction of Culture and Sports Center for Labors at Viet Sing residential area (Thuan An town) to meet the needs of entertainment for workers in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park I (VSIP I) and neighboring areas.
In addition, the union has actively participated in corporate management. Many union bases have actively advised employers to apply and implement welfare, salary and bonus regimes for laborers; collaborated with employers to organize dialogue at businesses, thereby negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with many contents that are beneficial to employees, contributed to building a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship in businesses.

Caring activities for labor labors not only organized in May but also created the effect throughout the year, especially on the occasion of holidays, Tet, bringing practical benefits to labors. Mr. Ma Van Viet (Worker of Apparel Far Eastern Viet Nam Co., Ltd - VSIP I Industrial Park, Thuan An Town) shared, caring activities for labor force of sectors, levels and businesses have helped to have peaceful wok, considered Binh Duong as second homeland to settle and live. He wished provincial leaders, functional sectors and businesses continue to accompany, support and establish more models and activities to care and help labor force.
Exciting activities for Workers' Month 2017
Following the success of previous years, Worker's Month and Youth Workers' Week in Binh Duong province in 2017 organized in association with the theme "For the benefit of union members". There are many activities such as organized meetings, dialogue between provincial leaders and union member and businesses of non-state sector; collaborated with University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City to train some specializations for workers and employees in Binh Duong province; organized the commendation of good and creative labor...
Provincial Confederation of Labor has directed union levels in promoting education and dissemination in labor force; responding to the program "Proud of Vietnamese Intellectual Labor"; praising advanced particular in movement of "Vietnam enterprise integration and development"; proposing employers to organize "Thank you workers" activity to show the recognition of employees' important contribution to business, local and social. At the same time, all levels of unions also organize activities so that workers have "better protection and welfare" such as monitoring the implementation of labor policies and legislation (wages, bonuses, regional minimum wages, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance); participating in quality management, food safety, especially collective kitchens serving labor force, improving shift meals… Associated with Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2017, union base will actively participate in, coordinate with employers to review, supplement and supervise the implementation of plans, regulations, rules, procedures, measures to ensure occupational safety and health, improve working conditions, reduce environmental pollution; limit occupational accidents and diseases; care for work ...
Many cultural and sport activities were organized to support Worker's Month and Youth Workers' Week in Binh Duong Province in 2017
Union levels in the province are constantly promoting cultural and sports activities to create a useful playground and enrich the spiritual life for workers such as: Worker Festival at Thuan An town; "Elegant and talented workers" contest in Ben Cat Industrial Zone; "Voice of Labor" contest in Binh Duong province; Mini football tournament for male and female at Shoe Company, Shyang Hung Cheng Co., Ltd; volleyball tournament for male and female at Pung Kook Saigon 3 Co., Ltd; Sports Festival for union base at VFR Co., Ltd. The activities are exciting, fun, was enthusiastically responded by union members and workers.
At the launching ceremony of Workers 'Month and Youth Workers' Week in Binh Duong province in 2017, Mr. Dang Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the contribution of labor force to the development of the province over time. To make Workers Month and Youth Workers' Day 2017 really became the big festival of labor force, he suggested departments, agencies, unions and administrations at all levels continue to invest in infrastructure, social welfare facilities and cultural institutions to serve the needs of studying, playing and entertaining, which raise the cultural and spiritual life of the labor force; promptly advise the provincial People's Committee to promulgate policies to create favorable conditions for laborers to live in a stable life. Local functional departments actively collaborate with business owners to promptly resolve problems and conflicts arising in labor relations, not allow long-term disputes affecting the rights and interests of workers, employers, security and local order. The vice chairman also expected the labor force to regularly improve their skills, respect the law, well observe the regulations of business, and contribute strengths and wisdom to build Binh Duong increasingly civilized rich and beautiful.
