According to the report, up to now, Binh Duong province has not recorded any positive case for SARS-CoV-2. However, the number of suspected cases increased, specifically: in the new period there were only 27 suspected cases (phase 01 had 05 cases), accumulated from the beginning of the outbreak to now, 32 suspected cases were sampled. As a result, up to 5:00pm on March 30th, 2020, 32 suspected cases have negative results with SARS-CoV-2.

Binh Duong borders Ho Chi Minh City (currently Ho Chi Minh City has 48 cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection), the number of employees working in companies/ factories in the province but having a residence address in Ho Chi Minh City is very high, so the risk of disease entering the province is very high. Many cases of SARS-CoV-2 have no clinical manifestations (fever, cough, shortness of breath), therefore, it is difficult to detect to implement isolation measures, leading to the risk of spreading in the community and difficult to control. In addition, Binh Duong province was directed by the Military Region 7 Command to receive 3,850 cases from abroad, so it is likely that there will be a positive case for SARS-CoV-2 in the near future. The reception time is divided into 03 phases (March 31, April 6 and April 22), each reception has from 500 to 1,000 people.

Treatment facilities from the provincial to the local level receiving isolated beneficiaries, focusing on treatment hospitals upon request (common diseases, background diseases); at the same time, organizing the collection of treatment when having positive cases with SARS-CoV-2, paying special attention to ensuring the safety of health workers, avoiding cross-contamination in hospitals.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Nam requested that in the coming time, it is necessary to seriously implement the instructions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Prime Minister and the ministries; Especially strictly implementing the Prime Minister's Directive No.15/CT-TTg on drastically implementing the peak wave of Covid-19 prevention and control, with no exceptions.
